Joshua Ramirez

I've always had a fascination with a well-told story. That fascination led me to my career as a journalist. I followed my family's tradition of graduating from Texas Tech University. I earned my degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2019. That same year I started my career as a digital content producer for FOX34, but quickly moved to a video editor position. From there it wasn't long before I was producing shows. Now as a Reporter/Producer for KCBD, I have been able to fully dive into the stories that impact my community. As a Lubbock native, I take great pride in covering the hardships and successes of my hometown. Having the opportunity to do that for, and with, the station and people I have been watching since I was a child is a great success in my young career. My goal now is to tell the stories that matter to Lubbock and the surrounding area and to always bring you coverage you can count on.
