Light showers in the form of rain, a mix and snow are moving west to east across West Texas this morning, with temps in the 30s.
TODAY: Most of the showers in our area will be clearing out by mid-morning. To our southeast in the Big Country towards Austin/San Antonio & Houston, they look to see light to moderate rain showers throughout the day today. We'll see clearing this afternoon with a high near 46.
TONIGHT: Low 24, winds will be out of the NNE as a weak front will move through.. very cold lows, 24 for Lubbock. Wind chills will be in the teens for some tomorrow morning.
TOMORROW: Even cooler with a high of 39, partly cloudy skies and NNE winds from 10-15. BRRRR!
EXTENDED: Friday will be breezy and slightly warmer with a high near 56. Lows will stay right at the freezing point this weekend with highs in the middle 60s and plenty of sunshine. Early next week we'll see cold lows right below freezing and mild afternoons with highs in the lower 60s.
